In a recent interview Demster opened up with more details about the style of her new album and what fans can expect to hear.

“I’m working on new music, writing new songs, trying to approach a different route, doing a new sound. I’m really excited. It’ll be fun. It’s more R&B/pop. I’m trying to bring out my inner ‘soul’; a new side of Demi. I’m straying away from the rock this time.”

“I’m really excited for working on new music in the spare time that I have before I go out on tour with the Jonas Brothers.”

Are you guys excited for the new Demster album?

Demster will be taking over Radio Disney this Friday at 3:00 pm PT/6:00 pm ET and then Radio Disney will Planet Premiere the song “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” from the upcoming soundtrack for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

Revealing her excitement in recording a new song for her upcoming album, the ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ star shares part of its lyric on her Twitter.
After releasing her debut album back in 2008, Demi Lovato is now in the works of recording her next effort. With the assistance of song writer and record producer Dapo Torimiro, the Mitchie Torres of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” has recorded the first single of the upcoming album. Through Twitter, Demi has spread the good news.

“So freaking giddy right now… In the studio recording a song I’m SO EXCITED about!!! ,” she began tweeting. She then posted, “With @dapotorimiro! This will be the first song I’ve recorded for my next record…. and we’re starting off with a BIG bang!!!”

In the last tweet posting, the 17-year-old songstress who has previously admitted that she was interested in collaborating with the country band Rascal Flatts, continued to share part of the lyrics of the song she had recorded. “I am everything, all that I needed, I WON’T be defeated, I won’t stop now, got it all figured out, I got what I need, right here,” she posted.

Earlier, Demi has recorded a duet song “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas for the “Camp Rock 2″ soundtrack, which will be out in stores across the U.S. on August 10. She, the Jonas Brothers and the rest of the TV movie cast will kick off its summer tour on August 7 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois.

We ran across this video of one of the new Hannah songs. In this video the person is claiming that the song was copied from another artist. So are these young musicians like Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato copying their material from others?

First we present you with the video on the first claim that the song “Kiss It Goodbye” is copied:

Now we present you with two of our own from Demi Lovato. One from Don’t Forget and the other from Here We Go Again that musically sound very close to a couple of KISS songs. Here they are for you to examine.

First here is “Party” from Don’t Forget as compared to a KISS song “Love Her All I Can” Please be sure to listen to the chorus riff on the KISS song and compare that to Party from Demster.Now for a Demster song that is even more ironically musically similar to another song. This is one from Here We Go Again called “Got Dynamite”. It really sounds very close musically to another KISS song from Love Gun titled “Almost Human” Here these are for comparison:Ok these are not exactly duplicates where Demi is concerned, but the riffs in the music are very similar. Does this mean that stars are copying things from other artists? Not necessarily.

Music is built on what came before and influenced by what is around now. So there may be similarities between two artist’s songs, but still be completely different at the same time. The same things can go for song titles. Sel has done a song titled Round And Round, but so did the rock group RATT back in the 1980′s Two completely different songs with the same title.

So the point is that sometimes artists are influenced by other musicians and that influence makes its way into their material. There is nothing wrong with that as long as it is not a direct copy of the material without the permission of the orignal artist.

We believe that to be the case with the examples shown above. If an artist can take their influences, make music with it and improve on it then that is very cool in our book. That is what makes music so magical.
