awww its sad that she was bullied in the past and had to get homeschooled since it got so bad.. theres no reason to pick on people. thats just wrong. shes way too sweet to be bullied.

i actually have been bullied in the past. i was really quiet growing up, as in i only talked to my friends when they were around, and people would just say rude things to me thinking they could just get away with it. really, they could, but it would stick with me forever and really put me in a bad place.

that was the past though, and i've made up with my bullies since. i am a lot more outgoing now and the experience really helped me to build up a thicker skin and not let people get to me. its tough tho, especially if you are starting out with low self esteem. but look at Demi, shes a rockstar now. c:

To answer your question chel, yes. My sisters and I have been bullied in previous years and are still suffering through bullying right now. We can really relate to Demi whenever it comes to bullying, because some of the stories she has told about her days in public school, are very similar to the instances we have had with bullies. Its not so much that people our age physically bully us, but verbally bully us. We agree with Demi whenever she said in this article about schools refusing to take action to verbal bullying, because the schools we attend in our opinion, do not take enough action to the bullying that takes place in school. Even though people can tell you things that can hurt your feelings despite this and it can affect you, you just have to not listen to those people. You know who you are, and no bully can take that away from you. Hope this answers your question!! :D
