Bullies

Demi has openly talked about the bullies that treated her bad. She talks to J-14 January 2009 Issue about when she ended up in the bathroom and her fear of failing.
On one Demi ended up in the school bathroom.
“I called my mom from the bathroom, in the dark crying. I said, ‘I don’t want to go to school anymore!’”
Being a perfectionist I know the fear of failing. Sometimes it stops me for doing what I want to do.
Demi talks about “Sony With A Chance.”
“I was so nervous. It’s hard to carry a comedy show. If you’re not funny, the show is not going to be funny. I’ve never had a lot of confidence in comedy, but I’ve let loose and totally had fun with it
Glasses
“I use to wear glasses all the time and I hated them. I was going through my awkward phase with bushy eyebrows, a huge gap and glasses.” Demi told Twist magazine (January 2009 issue)
She finally asked her mom if she could have contacts.
“The day I threw my glasses away was like the best day ever – - I tossed them in the trash can.”
Demi know realizes that wearing classes it not that bad.
“I was self-conscious about wearing glasses then, but now I know it doesn’t really make a difference. I want to wear glasses all the time now! I always wear them I don’t have makeup on because it’s a low-key look.”
I got my first pair of classes in the fifth grade. The glasses wear purple, which was my favorite color at that moment. I cannot remember if I got teased. At least no one in my class. I did get contacts, but they were hard to get in right. Now, I just wear glasses.
