If only I had that confidence!

Demi Lovato sets down with July 2009 issue of Pop Star magazine and talks about crushes.

“See, I would , like, straight up tell the guy because I’m just one of those girls. I don’t hold back and I don’t hide crushes. I’m just like, ‘Hey, what’s up? You’re really cute.’”

“Selena laughed at me once time because were at Disneyland and I thought this guy was really, really cute and I walked up to him and told him. I just walked up to him and was like, ‘Hey, I just wanted to let you know that my name is Demi and you’re gorgeous.’ Selena was like, ‘Dow do you do that?’ I was like, ‘It’s all about confidence!’ I mean, I was at Disneyland – - we both really weren’t looking that cool!”

I wonder if the guy knew who they were. I still can not get over the fact that Demi would go up to a crush or a complete stranger and let them know that they were cute.

I guess that is a good thing.

Demi’s Crush

According to the July 2009 issue of Pop Star magazine, Demi Lovato has a crush on William Beckett from The Academy Is. There is also Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, Alex Deleon from The Cab and Nick Santino for A Rocket to the Moon.

A Teacher No-No

I think I would have dig a hole and put my head in it, if this happened to me. One of Demi’s teachers told her crush that someone in the room liked him.

“It was such an embarrassing moment,” Demi told the June 2009 issue of M magazine. “I had a huge crush on one of the most popular guys in school. People found out and teased me about it in class. So the teacher asked me point blank, ‘Do you like him?’ And I was kind of like ‘Maaaybe.’ Literally right as I said it, my crush walked past the open classroom, The teacher says to my crush,’Someone in here was just talking about you!’ Everyone in the class starts laughing and pointing to me. So I ended up having to tell him that I liked him!”

Demi Mistaken for Katy Perry

Demi sat down with the June 2009 of Tiger Beat magazine, and told them about the time she was mistaken for singer Katy Perry.

“Katy Perry was doing a talk show on the same lot, and all these people ran up to the car because they thought I was Katy. I was like, ‘I am not Katy Perry.’ And they said, ‘Oh,’ and walked away. It was humbling, but my dad and I were laughing.”

Demi’s Friends

Demi sat down with the June 2009 of Tiger Beat magazine and talked to them about her friends.

Demi has this to say about her friend Taylor Swift.

“Taylor is really nice to me! We don’t talk about work – - we keep it strictly fun. That’s our sanctuary – - spending time together and we’re just teenagers.”

Demi also speaks highly of Miley Cyrus.

“Miley has the thickest skin of any I know. Sometimes I’ll text her crying [about something]. She’s been through so much, yet she’s still positive and so happy, It’s awesome.”

The Jonas Brothers are like Demi’s brothers.

“They are the coolest guys. We talk almost every day and they are like brothers to me.”

So what about the cast of Sonny With a Chance?

“Sterling is awesome. He is one of my closet friends. Our character argue a lot, but it’s because we have such a great friendship. Tiffany and I go out to dinner and do yoga. She’s like a sister to me!”

Now there is Demi’s long time friend, Selena Gomez.

“Selena has always been there for me. Even if we’ve had an argument or something, and I call her and I’m like,’I know we’re mad at each other, but I really need you,’ she’ll be like,’Okay.’ We may have our separate friends, but no one comes between me and Selena!”
