During her appearance at a press junket in Burbank, California, on Saturday, May 15, Demi Lovato has dished out her romantic relationship with Joe Jonas. The 17-year-old beauty told Us Magazine, “We’ve always had an incredible bond, an incredible friendship.”

“He knows me better than I know myself, and I know him better than he knows himself,” Lovato further shared. She also revealed that she’s relieved she is no longer has to play coy when she was asked about their romance, saying “There’s just so much stress trying to hide it and keep it quiet, that if you just come out and say. ‘Ok, we’re together,’ you don’t have to worry about keeping it such a secret.”

However, Lovato admitted that she, at first, found it “scary” to step up as a couple. “It was not only scary coming out to the public eye, but also the people who we work with, the people who are going to be on tour with us all summer, who are obviously nervous,” she revealed. “Because you never know what can happen.”

On how she feels about spending the whole summer with Jonas at Jonas Brothers’ upcoming tour, the Mitchie Torres of “Camp Rock” told People, “I’m fortunate that I get to work with the person that I’m in the relationship with.” She added, “Rather than being across the country and texting him, I can have him hold my hand when I’m tired.”

Demi Lovato will join Jonas Brothers as a special guest at their upcoming traveling gigs. They are set to kick off the tour on July 27 in Dallas and wrap it on October 17 in Raleigh, North Carolina. For the anticipated tour, they will perform musics from “Camp Rock” and its sequel “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”.
