J-14 Magazine (September 2008 Issue) asked Demi if she was in school now how would she decorate her locker?

“I’d paint the front black, so I’d have the only black locker in the school. I’s spray paint “Demi” in neon, which would totally not be acceptable in school, but it would be nice to imagine.”

That would be a cool locker. I am not sure what I would have my locker look like. Most of the time I could not even get into my locker, so I did not use it. I had to carry all my books with me.

Then J-14 asked her how was her locker decorated when she was in school.

“It had a mirror so I could check my make up – - every girl had one! I had pictures of my friends and me. By sixth grade, it was totally decorated, but I got so sick of having to reorganize it all the time, so in seventh grade, it was just a stack of books!”

My friends did decorate inside their lockers, if they could get it, they did have a mirror and pictures of friends, but they also had pictures of celebrities that they liked for example New Kids on the Block, Alyssa Milano, Melissa Joan Hart or Marky Mark (Wahlberg).

First Day of School Favorite Outfit?

J-14 ( September 2008) asked Demi what was her favorite first day of school outfit?

“I guess the one in sixth grade. I can’t remember if it was a skirt or a dress. I usually wore something very cute. Maybe it was a sundress. It was never rock – - which is so weird. Since I started home-schooling, I got more in touch with who I am and I realized rock is the way to go. So now, I’d wear neon leggings with a leather jacket.”

Most of the time I worse all black. Black jeans, black t-shirt and a black leather jacket. I can not remember why, but it was just what I liked. Luckily now I wear more colors.
