According to the October/November 2008 issue of J-14, Demi’s parents chaperoned her dates. Now that can be embarrassing and stressful.

“I went to the movies with my boyfriend, and it was so embarrassing because they both came. My mom, dad and I picked him up and we all went to the movies. We just sat there, and we didn’t even talk the whole time.”

I think I would be nervous if the boy I was out with would make a move, like putting his arm around me or hold my hand.

“He tried to hold my hand, and I got scared. I was so nervous. I didn’t know if he’d kiss me or anything. He didn’t. And I didn’t want him to!”

I can understand that.

Demi Spills Details of Her and Selena’s Sleep Overs

For many children and teens sleep overs are a part of life. That is also true for celebrities. Demi sat down with Twist Magazine ( October/ November 2008 issue) and shared some information on her and Selena’s sleep overs.

“My favorite sleepover would have to be the time that Selena and I dressed up really crazy and went to a department store. We walked around to see if people would stare at us and think we were crazy. And they totally did!”

Demi continues with another memory of one of her and Selena’s sleep overs.

“I remember playing Barbies with Selena at a sleepover in the fourth grade. We were dressing the dolls up, and we stayed up until five in the morning playing ! We acted out movies with the Barbies!”

What Demi and Selena Need For their Sleep Overs

Demi told Twist magazine,”When we’re having sleepovers me and Selena have to have junk food, especially popcorn!”

I have to agree. Popcorn is a must have, along with chips and dip.

Watching scary movies is a must, according to Selena. “We like watching cheesy, scary movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer!”

I do have to agree with that one also. A friend would have a movie sleep over. We would rent 3 to five movies. We had to have at least two scarey movies.

Now this one, I am not sure that I agree with. I love pickles, but I am sure I would be the only one eating them. But Demi thinks it is a must have.

“I know it sounds weird, but me and Selena eat pickles whenever we hang out. They’re so good!”

Demi and Selena like to listen to music when they spend the night with each other.

“Demi and I absolutely love Paramore! ‘Crush, Crush, Crush’ is my fave song on the Riot album.”

Demi Is Not Cutting Herself

There have been rumors going around that Demi Lovato cuts herself, according to www.mtv.com. That is not the case. While at Miley Cyrus’ there were was a picture of Demi with strange marks on her wrist, but now we know were the marks came from. They are not self-mutilation like Perez Hilton believes.

“Demi was wearing gummy bracelets just prior to her appearance on the red carpet and, because of how tight they were, they left indentations on her wrist,” publicist Allison Leslie told E! News.

“These allegations are completely false,” her other rep, Lillian Matulic, told the New York Daily News.
