Demi told Twist magazine (April 2009 Issue) about her birthday on the road with the Jonas Brothers.

“Everyone was telling me I had a big day coming up and I just forgot about it! I was like, ‘Oh yeah! My 16th birthday is coming up.’ But it was very well celebrated. My fans made my birthday so amazing with all the YouTube videos they made and all the comments on websities. During my concert the night of my birthday, my fans sang Happy Birthday to me twice! And there was a slideshoe that my mom put together with one of my best friend Marissa. It was all sad and whatnot end I was crying on stage–Which is kind of dorky!”
